Ouch!

A badly-gashed thumb means I'm kind of restricted at the moment in what I can do gaming and modeling-wise. I did manage to make a range of turn cards for the ECW Victory Without Quarter rules without injury.

Hopefully I'll get a game in this weekend to try out the rules. Fingers - but not thumbs - crossed...

Whoa! You must've really done a number on that! I hope it heals quickly! That sort of thing certainly does put a crimp in any activity involving use of one's hands.

Crikey mate, you certainly didn't muck about did you? Not to worry, chicks dig scars. Tell 'em you got it fighting off three maniacs with knives and bottles after they tried to rob an old lady. :-)

Thanks for your kind comments, gentlemen. The good news is, after a check up this morning I was told won't need plastic surgery on it. I also had the bandages removed, so I no longer look like a walking Facebook 'Like' icon. =)

Hi A. J.,

WOOF! Was there arterial spurting involved?! Well...at least the thumb is still attached! Just think of how good it will feel when it's healed. Not to mention the outrageous stories you can tell as to how you how you got the scar!

Some arterial spurting, yes, and my wife is a trooper for giving me first aid. The thumb is healing nicely.
